On September 17 and 18, Xander Bar will host an exclusive guest shift featuring Alexandra Vodnitskaya, the Head Bartender of the iconic Moscow restaurants Beluga and Mashenka. Working alongside the bar team, Alexandra will present three unique signature cocktails, where local Russian products such as kvass, linden, and walnut harmoniously blend with exotic Thai spices and sophisticated truffle. Alexandra is renowned for her minimalist approach to mixology: instead of overcomplicating recipes, she prefers to intrigue guests with unexpected combinations of a few select ingredients, turning buckwheat, beetroot honey, or gooseberries into a complete gastronomic score.

A bespoke cocktail menu has been curated specifically for this two-day guest shift. Connoisseurs of refined flavors will be offered the sweet-and-sour "Flower Honey — Chamomile — Linden — Hops" cocktail with an enveloping aroma of meadow flowers, as well as "Tomatoes — Passion Fruit — Spices," a sophisticated Pan-Asian twist on the classic Bloody Mary. Completing the special menu is "Amaro — Truffle — Walnut," a strong digestif cocktail with a restrained, noble bitterness and a deep, long-lasting umami aftertaste.
