Joint Exhibition Project with the 1703 Contemporary Art Fair
As part of the 3rd 1703 Art Fair, which took place at the Manege Exhibition Complex in June 2024, we were pleased to present a joint exhibition project with DiDi Gallery: series of graphic works and sculptures awaited guests in the Percorso and Sintoho restaurants.
During the exhibition, the hotel's bar team – Percorso, Sintoho, and Xander – also presented an exclusive collection of cocktails, inspired by contemporary art and love for the city.
The «Bridgehopper» cocktail from Xander Bar was timed to coincide with the start of the bridge-raising season – a light dessert digestif with mint liqueur. White chocolate liqueur adds sweetness to the cocktail, while a small amount of gin, clarified with milk using modern mixology techniques, alludes to the fair's theme – contemporary art.
The «1703» cocktail from Percorso Bar, located in the eponymous restaurant, was inspired by a beautiful gastronomic country – passionate Italy. Classic ingredients for this country – olive oil and fresh green basil – blend perfectly with vibrant pear and juicy apple, complemented by the minerality of white wine.
The «Collector» cocktail from Sintoho restaurant's bar told the story of a Golden Dragon guarding a marble city, full of dazzling domes, drawbridges, and untold treasures in its golden vaults. A light, Asian-style cocktail based on sake, ginger, honey, and sparkling wine – all this speaks of mysterious St. Petersburg, full of enigmas and unexpected combinations.
